Aircraft Elevator Systems
Every Elevator Is Mission-Critical.
MacTaggart Scott’s aircraft elevator systems deliver unmatched strength, control, and reliability — ensuring seamless movement of aircraft between hangar and flight deck, even under the most demanding operational conditions.
Our elevators are in service with many Navies, including Italy, South Korea, Spain and Australia.
The latest systems fitted to the Royal Navy Queen Elizabeth Class are capable of raising two F-35B Joint Strike Fighters simultaneously from the hangar deck to the flight deck.

Helicopter Handling Systems
SATS™ – Electrically Powered for Precision Helicopter Handling
SATS™ (Shipboard Aircraft Traversing System) is the next generation of helicopter handling — an all-electric drive evolution of MacTaggart Scott’s renowned TRIGON™ system.
Designed for high-sea-state operations, SATS™ delivers safe, smooth, and fully controlled helicopter movement between the hangar and flight deck.
Configured with three dedicated electric drive winches, SATS™ provides unmatched responsiveness, reduced maintenance demands, and high levels of reliability at sea.
Using the proven TRIGON™ principle, three high-tensile wire ropes attach to the helicopter’s strong points creating a secure tensioned web, whilst accurately monitoring and controlling the tension to ensure no damage to the airframe.
Supplied with either fixed control console or chest pack
